What a turn of events at American Family Field on Tuesday night.
With the Milwaukee Brewers headed toward an eventual 4-1 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals – their third straight setback – there was madness occurring at Truist Park in Atlanta.
There, the Braves had rallied from a 6-0 deficit against the Chicago Cubs to pull to within 6-5 in the seventh inning. Then, with two outs in the eighth, Seiya Suzuki dropped a routine fly ball in right field that allowed the tying and winning runs to score.
Not long thereafter, Raisel Iglesias closed out the game for the Braves and the National League Central Division title for the Brewers as a result.
The Central crown is Milwaukee's fourth and third in the last six years.

Immediately after the loss the Brewers headed into the home clubhouse for a champagne celebration that had been in the works since Friday in Miami. But consecutive losses Saturday and Sunday put it on hold, instead allowing the team to celebrate on their home turf and with their fans.
There certainly wasn't much to write home about in this one; Milwaukee managed only five hits, went 1 for 6 with runners in scoring position and got a spotty start from Adrian Houser.
But in the end, it didn't matter.
